Neah Power Systems, Inc. [[NPWS.OB]], a renewable energy company, jumped more than 60 percent following its new type of low cost, high reliability and power, liquid electrolyte based direct methanol fuel cell that does not require air to operate. Technical investors pushed shares to higher levels as the breakout continued into this week.
TAMM Oil and Gas Corporation [[TAMO.OB]], an oil and gas exploration company, announced that it entered into a Farmin agreement to acquire the heavy oil rights on up to 276,000 gross acres through Zentrum Energie Trust, AG of Switzerland in the Peace River area of Northwest Alberta Canada. The agreement provides that TAMM has the right to pay 100% of the costs.
Exobox Technologies Corporation [[EXBX.OB]], a development-stage company working on network and data security solutions, surged higher after CEO Kevin Regan was interviewed by Michael Garfield the “High-Tech Texan” on his Michael Garfield Show on June 27th, just days before the company releases its new SaaS data leak detection software product.
China Sun Group High Tech Company [[CSGH.OB]], a lithium ion batteries producer, jumped after it signed contracts with four more battery companies to begin testing on its eco-friendly product. The companies will begin testing samples of lithium ion phosphate, which could mark the beginning of a next generation “green” power source for lithium ion.
Genta Incorporated [[GNTA.OB]], a biopharmaceutical company working on cancer and related diseases, dropped after announcing a reverse split of its stock. The board approved a one-for-fifty reserves stock split effective with the open of trading on July 1, 2009. The move is designed to increase the stock’s trading price to make it more appealing and reduce the number of outstanding shares.
