Juniper Group, Inc. (JUNP), Alternet Systems, Inc. (ALYI), and American Lithium Minerals Inc. (AMLM) were among today’s top OTC market movers.
Juniper Group, Inc. [[JUNP.OB]], which specializes in broadband installations and wireless infrastructure, saw its shares move up more than 50 percent after bullish news earlier this week after its telecommunications subsidiary was awarded multiple major projects in and around the Philadelphia market. The company noted that these projects could take 12 to 18 months to compete.
Alternet Systems, Inc. [[ALYI]], which develops and sells Internet application systems and software, saw its shares rise 25 percent after scheduling a webcast to review the company’s acquisition and sales pipeline in China, Africa, Latin America and North America. The company plans to build a portfolio of mobile payment software solutions through the acquisition of strategic mobile services system integrators and solution developers.
American Lithium Minerals Inc. [[AMLM.OB]], which is an exploration company that plans to mine lithium deposits in the U.S., jumped more than 5 percent higher after being featured in several investment newsletters. Skymark Research also initiated independent coverage of the company, according to a press release put out today.
