Imaging3, Inc. (IMGG), VaxGen, Inc. (VXGN), and Applied DNA Sciences Inc. (APDN) were among today’s top OTC market movers.
VaxGen, Inc. [[VXGN.OB]], which develops biologic products for the treatment of human disease, saw its shares jump more than 10 percent after its AIDSVAX – which is now held by a non-profit organization called Global Solutions for Infectious Diseases – proved successful in preventing HIV infection when combined with ALVAC from Sanofi Pasteur.
Imaging3, Inc. [[IMGG.OB]], which develops medical imaging devices for 3D medical diagnostics, saw its shares jump more than 30 percent after conducting a conference call to update shareholders on its FDA approval process. Due to extraordinarily high call volume, the capacity limits of the call were exceeded, but it will be available on the company’s web site.
Applied DNA Sciences Inc. [[APDN.OB]], which develops DNA embedded biotechnology security solutions in the U.S., saw its shares jump more than 20 percent after announcing that it can create botanical SigNature DNA markers that can individually mark valuables and rare limited edition collectibles that require a forensic level of security and authentication.
