Intraop Medical Corporation (IOPM), Advanced Life Sciences Holdings, Inc. (ADLS), and Imaging3, Inc. (IMGG) were among today’s top OTC market movers.
Intraop Medical Corporation [[IOPM.OB]], which designs, and manufactures a mobile electron-beam cancer treatment system, saw its shares jump more than 250 percent after St. Joseph Hospital introduced the first ongoing intraoperative electron radiation therapy program for breast cancer, supported by Intraop Medica’s self contained radiation therapy system.
Advanced Life Sciences Holdings, Inc. [[ADLS.OB]], a biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of drugs for infectious diseases, saw its shares rise nearly 50 percent after its once daily oral antibiotic Restanza drug was granted FDA Orphan Drug Designation for the prophylactic treatment of Plague and Tularemia.
Imaging3, Inc. [[IMGG.OB]], which manufactures and distributes medical devices and acts as a third-party service provider, saw its shares rise more than 60 percent after being featured in several investment newsletters. Investors are also waiting on the company’s DViS – Dominion Volumetric Imaging Scanner – which is awaiting approval by the FDA.
