Top 3 OTC-BB and Pink Sheet Market Movers
Universal Detection Technology (UNDT), Verify Smart Corp (VSMR) and XsunX, Inc. (XSNX) were among today’s top OTC market movers.
Universal Detection Technology [[UNDT.OB]], which develops and markets bioterrorism detection devices, saw its shares jump more than 30 percent after announcing a contract with the U.S. Department of Defense. The contract includes equipment for the detection of harmful bio-agents including anthrax, ricin and botulinum toxins.
Verify Smart Corp [[VSMR.OB]], a leader in secure and fraud free payment processing services, saw its shares jump more than 15 percent after breaking out from a key resistance level. Last month, the company announced the launch of its integrated and highly scalable e-commerce system along with its enhanced web site designed to help merchants.
XsunX, Inc. [[XSNX.OB]], which manufactures and sells thin-film photovoltaic technology to the solar industry, saw its shares nearly double to $0.21 per share after being featured in a prominent investor newsletter. However, the stock has since retreated to $0.155 per share on heavy volume of more than 8.37 million shares by mid-day.
