[[BONU.OB]], a specialty life science company focused on a combinational chemistry-based technology, saw its shares jump more than 40% after announcing a collaborative agreement with the Chertoff Group to continue development of its antimicrobial and sterilant technologies, and investors remain bullish on the prospects.
WorldGate Communications, Inc. [[WGAT.OB]], a personal video phone manufacturer and distributor, saw its shares jump more than 20% after breaking out from a key technical resistance level and being featured in several investment newsletters. Despite lackluster second quarter earnings and a lack of news, investors are bullish on the stock during the session.
Heartland, Inc. [[HTLJ.OB]], a diversified conglomerate consisting of oil, food and steel businesses, saw its shares jump more than 30% after its steel segment announced $1 million in sales prior to completion and start-up of its new warehousing and distribution center. Investors remain bullish on the stock’s ability to perform despite a turbulent economy.
