China Crescent Enterprises, Inc. (CCTR), Legend Media Inc. (LEGE), and Solar Power Inc. (SOPW) were among today’s top OTC market movers.
China Crescent Enterprises, Inc. [[CCTR.OB]], a Chinese vendor of information technology products and services, saw its shares jump more than 15 percent after reporting record profits in the second quarter and issuing a $50 million profitable revenue forecast for 2009. The company also recorded a Hong Kong contract that included $30 million in new business.
Legend Media Inc. [[LEGE.OB]], a multimedia marketing services provider to network marketing groups, saw its shares jump more than 60 percent after being profiled in several investment newsletters and signing a new $172,182 contract with Beijing SouFun earlier this week. Investors remain bullish on the company’s prospects going forward.
Solar Power Inc. [[SOPW.OB]], which manufactures photovoltaic panels and modules and balance of system components, saw its shares jump more than 10 percent after breaking out from a key resistance level and receiving some positive coverage in the press. Investors remain bullish on the company’s solar cells despite a decline in the overall market, due to weak pricing.
