Xcellink International Inc. [[XCEL.OB]], a developer of advanced consumer-centric payment systems and methodologies, shares rose nearly 10 percent after announcing that it has built a prototype of its payment system on Research In Motion’s Blackberry software platform. The technology would provide simple payment solutions from a consumer’s current accounts.
PolyMedix, Inc. [[PYMX.OB]], a biotechnology company focused on using synthetic small molecule compounds, saw its shares jump nearly 10 percent after announcing that it successfully completed its Phase 1B clinical study of Heparin Antagonist PMX-60056. The study was a pilot proof-of-concept study conducted in the U.S. under an Investigational New Drug application (IND) with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Dynamic Response Group, Inc. [[DRGZ.OB]], an electric and retail market company focused on infomercials and radio advertising, saw its shares drop more than 20 percent despite announcing that it entered into an agreement for the exclusive worldwide rights to design, develop, market and distribute the commercial version of the Spin Fryer, while also filing for a patent.
