Del Global Technologies (DGTC), Clear-Lite Holdings Inc. (CLRH), and Biostar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (BSPM) were among today’s top OTC market movers.
Del Global Technologies [[DGTC.OB]], which develops dental imaging systems, saw its shares jump more than 30 percent after entering into an agreement to transfer certain assets and other product lines to United Marketing Group. The divesture will not include or impact the operations of the Villa subsidiary, which will then become the company’s primary operation.
Clear-Lite Holdings Inc. [[CLRH.OB]], which provides high-speed wireless services, saw its shares moved up nearly 5 percent after its cutting-edge ArmorLite product was featured in the Huffington Post on Wednesday. Science writer Kate Kelly wrote about the safety concerns surrounding mercury in CFL bulbs and noted ArmorLite’s safer CFL technology.
Biostar Pharmaceuticals, Inc. [[BSPM.OB]], which develops over-the-counter pharmaceutical products, saw its shares surge higher after reporting strong third quarter results. The company’s revenues increased 106.3% to $15.6 million, while its gross margins improved by 77%. Earnings per share for the quarter also increased 550% to $0.13 per share.
