Neohydro Technologies Corporation (NHYT) shares surged more than 60 percent after announcing that the Green Interactive Hybrid System had been showcased at Walgreens’ 12th Annual Car Show in Lynden, Washington.
Neohydro Technologies Corporation [[NHYT.OB]], exclusive licensee of the Green Interactive Hybrid System for Canada, said the GIHS was extremely well-received and that it plans to use the event as a launching pad for marketing the product throughout Canada and eventually perhaps North America. The company’s next show will be at the Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden, Washington on August 17, 2009.
Neohydro Technologies’ GIHS system can be applied to existing cars to improve gas mileage while retaining the manufacturer’s warranty. For example, a new Chevy Corvette can be modified to get 40MPG+ around town and 32MPG+ on the highway, while keeping its 775 horsepower and 100,000 mile manufacturer’s warranty. By adding turbo power, the technology can help make engines more efficient than existing ones, while improving horsepower.
Chief Executive Michael Kulcheski commented, “We enjoyed getting out with our potential customers and enthusiasts, as we commence our grassroots campaign to bring our products to the public. For this reason we want to take this opportunity to invite any potential dealerships, marketing groups and or distribution networks interested in being part of our expansion plans, to come on down and meet us at the show in August.”
In the end, Neohydro Technologies is working to spread the word to potential customers, dealerships and distributors, which should help improve the prospects for monetizing its technology effectively in the future. While, the company is still losing money, long-term investors may want to keep this stock on the radar, as its technology is certainly promising.
